As I'm advancing with my little widget, i just got another problem, which is also related with widget painting, so i decided to append my new problem right here in order to not flood...
I have a waveform that goes from +1 to -1 on the y-axis.
mRect = zoomer->zoomRect();
Results in:
mRect.top() = -1;
mRect.bottom() = 1;
This is upside-down.
You couldn't. And if you keep going back to that method, you won't be making any progress. createWindow itself will not help you prevent freezing web browser windows.

I don't see how that's helpful to you. There are multiple IPC mechanisms that you can use such as local sockets or shared memory and they suit the situation much better because d-bus doesn't provide...
