The first edition of the programming contest was held in year 2007 together with froglogic GmbH, Integrated Computer Solutions Inc., Klarälvdalens Datakonsult AB and Trolltech ASA.

29 projects were submitted for evaluation in four categories. The winners of each category are:

• Custom Widget – Warp Tree
• Helper Library – QXML-RPC
• Development Tool – QDevelop
• Desktop Application – Marble Desktop Globe
