I am looking to hire one or more C++ programmers. Experience with Qt 4 and wxWidgets would be nice. This is a "telecommuting" gig, so you can work from wherever you are now as a contractor using irc, bugzilla, svn, email, skype, etc.
I'm not looking for windows coders, so you need to know your way around a makefile and gcc. Students are okay, as long as you actually know C++ and can put in 10+ hours/week while attending school (and hopefully more when you are on breaks). Also, I would like people who are willing to make a long-ish term commitment (>=1 year or so). You must be a "self-starter", be able to make your own decisions, able to handle criticism of your work, and be able to educate yourself when necessary. You need to have excellent English skills for the sake of communication, however it doesn't have to be your first language or anything. You will be working on GPL code, and I generally prefer developing in Linux, although our target customers are windows users.
