We are a small software company seeking a software engineer with expertise in C++, QT 4 the SIP protocol to spearhead an innovative product centered on unified communications. The ideal candidate will have experience in VoIP, text messaging and video software. The candidate will be a key decision maker and contributor in the development and application of the product line. You will define requirements, design and
lead implementation efforts of significant application modules.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Proven track record creating and maintaining production quality applications
- Strong hands-on experience developing and deploying applications on Windows and Linux platforms
- Expert level experience with C++, QT and the SIP Protocol
- Experience developing complex GUI interfaces
- Familiarity with the entire development life cycle, including specification, design, development,
documentation, quality assurance, release activities, and post-release support
- First-rate communication skills, both verbal and written
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
- Knowledge of video streaming formats and network protocols
- Deep understanding of software security principals
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS and Linux
- Knowledge of Subversion, build/release procedures
- Mobile platform knowledge (Windows Mobile, Symbian)
