Hello,
I'm trying to do a thing that should be simple but not for me.
I have 2 pc in a local network. pc1 has a folder "shared" (but I think this is a secondary problem). The problem is that I don't kknow how access from pc2 to pc1.
Situation:
PC1 PC2
userA(with passwd) userA (without pass)
userB (without pass) userB (without pass)
userC (without pass) userC (without pass)
In "local security settings" of PC1 I added userA, userB. For what I understand, I have to add the users from "local security settings" (the folder sharing is thing that comes after)...
Then from pc2 (and logged as userA) I try to access to pc1. cliccking, appers a mask
that asks me user and pass...It works only for userA. (and it seems ok)
I can't log on pc2 with userB. I try all combination: it works only with userA;
Any hints? Any links?
I'm sincer: I can't find a link that explains clearly this thing.
(for knowledge pc1 has xp pro; pc2 xp home; both with SP2 installed).
Sincerly,
