I work for a company, located in San Diego California, that is seeking engineers with QT experience. The position is related to Hollywood entertainment. (It is not Pixar.)

Don't repond if you don't have a passion and pride in your work. These positions are not just jobs but careers. These are the positions you have been training years for.

You have to know C++. If you don't know what const is or what a pure virtual function is, you aren't ready for this position.

You should know QT 4.x. If you don't know QT, a framework like MacApp, Starview, UbiLab's ET are possible substitute experiences. If you don't know what signals and slots are, or what the moc does, you are not ready for this position.

WORKING knowledge of mutlithreading, tcpip, STL are mandatory.

Knowledge of Qt's plugin system in general would be good.
Knowledge about encryption, drm would be good.

No remote contracting.
No H1Bs.
No prima donnas. You will be working with engineers who are at the top of the field and are professional. Trying to impress them with how good you are relative to them will not be conducive to the environment I am building.

Don't waste my time or your time if you aren't at the top of your game or you don't match these qualifications.

If you got this far and are still interested PM me here. If it looks like a match, I'll give you an email address where you can forward your resume.
