Pipeline Trading Systems (www.pipelinetrading.com) is a rapidly
growing electronic marketplace for large block institutional equities
trading. We are located in New York City (midtown).
We are looking to add creative, multi-talented, quick-learning (and
free-thinking) developers to a tight and successful engineering team.
We have a lot of interesting work to do, but we need the right people
to do it. If you are a motivated team player and looking for an
environment where you will be challenged by your work and recognized
for your achievements, this is where you want to be.
We presently are looking for GUI programmers: we're adding new and
interesting features to our front-end and need to build out a small
team to make it happen. Things you must be experienced with:
* C++
* Qt
* User Interface Design
* Aesthetics (just know what looks good and what doesn't -- care a LOT about it)
Here are extra bonuses:
* Mac programming experience -- it's a Win32 app, but built to be
user-friendly; you can even code it using parallels or bootcamp. You
need to be able to think beyond traditional Windows design paradigms
* Visual Studio -- it's a must, though Qt integrates fairly well with it.
Pipeline offers all employees competitive salaries, bonuses and stock options.
