Hello,
I am working for a company (It's name is XtraSens) for the past 3 years, and we are looking for a QT developper for the task i will explain below.
We are publishing a picture processing software, which was initially designed as a (Windows only) Photoshop plugin. For the past 4 monthes, i have rewrote the core of this software as a full object, multi platform clean thing. The goal of this developpement was, at short / medium term, to get a plugin which can also work on Photoshop Mac, and then make an independant branch which would not be a plugin anymore.
The goal of hiring another developer is now to finalize the GUI and make it as portable as possible, and should show to the end user:
- A main window, allowing the user to select a "mode" to apply the filters.
- After the "mode" is selected, another pane has to show, giving the user the ability to move various groups of sliders in tabs. Those sliders / tabs will have to be a derivated class of the existing one, since the GUI has to look a very special way on both windows / mac (And maybe linux after the program is not a plugin anymore).
- At the same time as the user can play with sliders, two other windows has to be shown, the first window has to show the original picture, and the second pane shows the processed picture (With real time processement progression, i have made a callback when the core is running). Those panes have to be resizeable, and "splitable". For instance, it starts showing the two pictures in a single pane, and when the user pushes the "split" button, it split into two separated windows. To display the pictures, two ARGB planes are passed to the GUI, and since we have a memory limitation issue, overloading the QT canevas class to draw from this plane format should be good.
So we need a med-skilled QT programer, i know all those stuff are kind of "easy" to do, after the widgets are designed it's a matter of hours to place them and create the final behavior... I have done very similar work in the past, the problem is now i dont have any time to do this... I'm still working on the core, and on other projects.
If you are interested, thank you to mail me at HicksCorp@GMail.com.
Our dead line for finding someone able to do this is one week from now, then i'll have to handle all this myself XD
For your information, the work will be reasonably paid, and i always had what i asked for as an income since i'm working with these people (I'm freelance).
Thank you for your time, and all my appologies for my bad english... I can try to explain more deeply if anyone asks.
Pierre.
