...can it be assumed that the MinGW under Windoze will work a well?
My code compiles fine under Linux using the gcc and compiles as well under Windoze XP using Visual Studio 2005.
However, I am just too lazy to install the MinGW and make sure this compiler works, too.

Not in general case. In most cases, however, yes. It's your choice where and how to test the application.

And I simply don't have any Windows pc to test on. I'm just assuming it will compile.

You can ask someone to do it for you. There are 3k users registered on the forum, surely you can find someone with Windows, it's quite a popular system...

I have asked (http://www.qtcentre.org/forum/f-qtcentre-programming-contest-2007-21/t-compiling-on-other-plattforms-7221.html). No one has responded.

I am willing to take the risk. Was just curious. :)

He also offered only to test agains msvc2005. Already did that.
Btw. precompiled Windoze binaries can be downloaded from Sourceforge.
