Default QtConcurrent

Now that Qt 4.4.0 is out, can you explain what QtConcurrent is and how one would use it? Thanks!

The dev days presentation link provided by Deepdiver is a nice detailed presentation. However, the threading webcast does include several slides on the concurrency manager at the end of the presentation. My recommendation would be to first listen to those slides in the webcast, and then review the dev days presentation.
