Nokia have released an updated Qt SDK for Windows. Version 2010.02.01 fixes a crash bug in Qt Creator which does not affect the SDK on other platforms. Downloads here.
A call for papers has been issued regarding the upcoming Akademy KDE community conference which is to be held in Tampere, Finland, from 3rd to 10th July. The themes for this event are to be KDE beyond the Linux desktop (netbooks, mobile phones etc) and integration with social networking systems like Facebook and Twitter/identi.ca, but talks on other KDE-related topics are welcome.
A third release candidate of the KDE Software Compilation, version 4.4, has been released. This contains only bug fixes since the second RC. Source downloads, and links to binaries, from the info page.
KDE is looking for helpers to be behind the stall at SCALE 8x (Southern California Linux Expo, at the Westin hotel near LAX, 20-21 Feb 2010); they should be users of KDE apps like KOffice, Amarok or the Plasma workspace. Volunteers get free admission. See the link for contact details.
