PDF export of Dots: bugs?

If you change the bode example of awt pakcage, just changing the syle from Line to Dots(d_crv1->setStyle(QwtPlotCurve:ots) )
and then export to pdf, you will not get the dots in the pdf.
On the other hand, if you export to svg or png, dots are exported.

Sometimes these are problems of the viewer.

I tried the bode example on Linux/X11 and can also see no points when viewing the PDF document in the acrobat reader. But I can see them with kpdf.
