Default Plugin and dll , differences ?

Sometimes I think that it can be possible to do similar things via plugin or via dll .
Anyone can give me some ideas ?
    Thanks

    Plugin is also a dll.

I can reach that conclusion myself...
But... is there a difference ? are plugin easiest to develop ? one of them is more powerful ?
    Thanks

Great, so why do you ask?

The exactly same difference as between a cat and an animal.

Read my lips: A plugin is a library. How can implementation of a library be easier than an implementation of a library?

If you are asking such questions then I suggest you stick with what you call a "dll".
