Default Re: how to open qt linguist?

I found linguist and all other components in qt/bin. Now problem simplified to how to set qt environment in terminal. Since i am a beginner I dont know how to set that. I googled, but didnt found a satisfactory result. Can anyone suggest how to set Qt environment permenantly?
    linguist is positioned in qtsdk2010-05/qt/bin/
