Can't write in russian in the translation field

I use Suse 12.1 (with UTF-8 coding), Qt Creator 2.4.1 (with UTF-8 coding) and Qt Linguist 4.8.0. I created "ru.ts" file and opened it in Qt Linguist. I switched keyboard to russian and now I can write in russian everywhere except Qt Linguist (I see one strange rectangle only).

Any ideas why can't I write in russian?


Hmm... I created "ru.qm" file and my application shows russian fonts properly. So is it something with Qt Linguist config? But I can't find any option.

Use the virtual Russian keyboard . And copy it from there and paste it. You will get the result.
