i have used the installeventfilter function of QDirModel ,but it does not receive any event.
is there any event it receives

Umm, what events are you looking for? Did you actually install it as an event filter on something? Take a look at event filter (http://doc.trolltech.com/4.3/qobject.html#eventFilter) docs to see how they work.
