View Full Version : can Qt (on linux) use a windows dll?

Good day,

The short answer may be no, I couldn't find much on it. But I'm thinking of porting a big app to linux and it would save me quite some time if I could use a dll I made with borland c++ builder on windows.

Yes, it can, although this has nothing to do with Qt. See how MPlayer (http://www.mplayerhq.hu/design7/news.html) uses windows codecs (dll's, of course).

By "see" I mean downloading the sources and taking a look at them.
