Is it Possible to create stacked layouts with designer?

What is the difference of having stacked widgets and stacked layouts...i feel both are meant for the same purpose!

In what way will they be advantageous?

QStackedWidget is provided for convenience. QStackedWidget uses QStackedLayout.
