creating surfaces

how can v create multiple surfaces on top of each other n make them transparent so as to view the below surfaces???? n btw hello every1...:)

A.) read about QGraphicsView.
B.) If you simply want to paint the layer on a widget you should read about QPainter and how you can set the opacity etc. QPainter::setOpacity().
