It's possible to get mime-type associated icons for any file?

Hello !
I'm writing small app with ability to attach any file to message.
Well, i need to display my attachment files with file type associated icons.
For example : for .doc - Word icon, for .xls - Excel icon and so on.
It is possible in Qt4 to find out which icon is associated with the file?
I'm in WinXP.

I think under windows QFileIconProvider returns proper icons for files.
