Hi..

I have created an application using Qt 4.1.0 on Windows 2000.. Now i want to port the same application the Linux (Red Hat Enterprise)...
Now what do i have to do for the same..
i read thru the doc of installation of the qt-x11 version..
now can i directly port my application created by qt-windows on qt-x11 and run it..

what changes do i have to make it in the application created on the windows..
it would be very helpful if you could direct me to some docs which tell abt porting the windows application created using QT on Linux...

Thanking u a lot..

with regards,
Kapil

As you already might know, Qt is a cross-platform toolkit. :) There shouldn't be too much porting unless you have used platform specific code.
Transfer the project (a clean Qt project without any makefiles or any other files generated by the Windows development environment of yours) to the Linux and repeat steps; ("qmake -project"), "qmake", "make" and voilá! Your application has been compiled for Linux and is ready to be executed.
