Hi all,
I would write an application, under XP environment, able to act like the "System Monitor" available in GNOME(KDE also has a similar one).
This app should live in system tray and have little graphical widget displaying the graph of network activity instead of the simple icon.

Anyone knows if this is possible?
Thank you in advance.

Very simple. Just update/redraw tray icon periodically. With QTimer for example...

hi,
solution depend on what you want display.

You can find to this url (it's in french) three examples to simulate an animated icon.
