What happened to Qt::WRepaintNoErase and Qt::WResizeNoErase?

The docs for 4.5 state that they're no longer needed. Why's that? Is there an alternative to taking over erasing a qwidget's background?

It's been obsoleted by Qt::WA_OpaquePaintEvent and its predecessors since ages (4.0).
