We are developing powerful creative software for interactive and dynamic video and imaging content. The software introduces ground-breaking new immersive video experiences and dramatically reduces development time and cost for many common types of rich media.

The product has the opportunity to become a standard desktop tool for digital creative professionals and enthusiasts: Photographers, web- and graphic designers, video artists, etc. The feedback from the target group so far has been *very* positive. The first release will be for Mac OSX. Other OS versions will follow.

We are looking for a talented UI developer who will join our highly motivated, international team and lead the development and design of the software user experience. Outstanding quality of work is essential to the commercial success of the product, as the core target group is extremely critical of UI design.

Passionate about quality of code and superior design
Always looking for tweaks that will make the user workflow faster, more intuitive and more elegant
Ambitious and driven to succeed in a start-up environment
Ability to deeply understand user behaviour
Nimble, flexible, insightful and enjoys solving difficult problems
Appreciates the quality of Apple design, but no Mac "religious fanatic"
Ability to work in Amsterdam

Cross platform UI development (Mac OSX, Windows)
Qt API / C++
Able to show previous high-quality, user experience projects
Deep knowledge of UI conventions and the latest trends in professional design software (e.g. Adobe CS, Apple FCS, Autodesk)
Multimedia software-players and platforms
Graphics libraries

Image processing
UI development for professional content creation tools
GPGPU programming (with OpenCL )

Initial compensation will be a mix of salary and equity in the company.
