Minimizing mainwindow in Win XP

When I hit the minimize button on my application, it doesn't minimize to the taskbar, but rather shrinks down and sits above the taskbar.

Is is possible to make it minimize into the taskbar?

It works on my system. Maybe you have changed that window's flags or attributes?
