Is the Qt Embedded open source-version always using X11, and you have to pay to get the embedded version that can run without X11?

I downloaded the open source version (qt-everywhere-opensource-src-4.6.2.tar.gz) from Qt website and when running configure it says "This is the Qt for Linux/X11 Open Source Edition".

Trying to figure it out and not finding much info.

As far as I'm aware, all the versions are rolled into one distributable for the commercial or LGPL versions (so two different versions, each will all the platforms). So if you want the embedded version, you can build it yourself by running configure.

I did just see that I needed to do:

./configure -embedded
I did not see that when doing

./configure -help
Maybe I'm blind.
