Phonon access to waveform/buffer

Is there any way to access direct waveform of a sound played by Phonon? Or to the buffer contents of the AudioOutput?

I'm looking for a way to easily extract waveforms from mp3s...

No, Phonon is just a black box. If you want access to actual audio or video data, use the QtMultimedia module.
