I really like the compat list view in nautilus and list view in windows explorer. How to create a QListView be like that? And, why konqueror have kick out list view in KDE4 ?

I'm not sure what you mean exactly, but a sorting proxy and a delegate will get you pretty far.

And, why konqueror have kick out list view in KDE4 ?Did you mean the list with the folders on your harddrive and did you mean dolphin which is the standard "explorer" in KDE 4? Then have a look at the preferences, it is still there, only deactivated by default.

Ah, you have to use QListView::IconMode for that with a proper grid size.

yes, for my second answer.
IconMode can't like that.Yes, it can, therefore I wrote it. Use IconMode and TopToBottom as flow. Then simply write your own delegate and position the icon leftside to your icon. And you don't have to do so much yourself. Just use the standart sizeHint an add the size of the icon etc...
