Editing properties of groups of widgets

In qt3 the designer was able to change similar properties of groups of widgets, now it's not possible anymore: why?

I think it's very useful to be able to select a lot of, say, QPushButton and change there layout behavior or their minimum size, and so on?

Is there any chance that in Qt4.2 the designer will be able to do this again?
