View Full Version : Qt Creator Ctrl+Alt+Lclick Column Edit?

Hello all.

I'm a pretty big fan of QtCreator (currently using 2.0.0). There's just one feature I miss over some other IDEs: column edit mode. QtCreator has something that makes me think column edit is SORT of there (ctrl+alt+left-click), but it only SORT of works (i.e. if I select at least one column and delete, it deletes the selected columns from each row as expected). However, I also expect that when I select a zero-width column and begin typing, the characters I type go into each row, or when I hit backspace, it deletes from each row. That's not the case-- it only works on the first row.

Is this a bug, or simply a feature I don't understand? I'll file a bug report if it's a bug.

Thank you for any help!
