Hi,

Wat kind of support Qt provides for the IP Telephony related applications?
Is it purely Mobile related?

Please also mention the memory requirement of the Qt on a arm embedded device, if
i need only GUI related features like Displaying images, playing video, textbox, button,
listbox, messagebox.

My video requirement is such a way that i should be able to play video streams i receive
from a shared memory. Or is it only possible for going with socket programming over
shared memory?

Thanks in advance....

There are some datasheets from Trolltech:

hi axel,

i went thru that datasheets, and noticed the memory size needed. But i
would like to know is it possible to use qt core alone, hence
reducing the memory requirement. My GUI requirements include the
basic graphical components like listbox, Textbox, Image viewing, playing incoming
video and audio stream. Is it possible to satisfy the needs with the Qt Core alone.

Regards,

Mahesh

You can use Qt Core without Qtopia but you don't get a movieplayer then. You'll have to use either the movieplayer of Qtopia (I don't know wether you can get it without of the rest of Qtopia) or another player, MPlayer for example.
