About Genaker (http://www.genaker.net)

We are a company based in Barcelona focusing on various kinds of communication clients (for instance like Skype) and we are going to shift focus into using Qt and are looking for a lead UI developer to take responsibility for this work.

Position
We have developed a very competent core technology that is platform independent and now we want to leverage Qt on as many platforms as possible. This includes Windows Mobile and Symbian but also Android and potentially other 3:rd party Qt ports if they become available in the future.

We offer interesting and challenging work in a company that has been around for many years. Your position however will be in a completely new part of the company working in a very small team building things from the bottom up. You should be a bit entrepreneurial in your mindset, always assuming that things can be done in a better or more efficient way.

Wish list
Interested candidates should have:
* Strong experience from C/C++ development
* Very strong skills in Qt.
* A good sense for creating functional and attractive user interfaces.
* Experience from in constructing flexible UI architecture that will work on various types of platforms with as few modifications as possible.
* If you have already gained experience with Qt quick this is a plus so we can analyse if that is a good way for us to move forward.
* Work under both a lot of freedom and responsibility.
* Be curious, committed and proactive.

In theory we would prefer someone on-site in Barcelona but if you have the talent we are looking for send your CV anyway since there might arise needs for re-enforcements that can be managed remotely on full/part time or based on specific needs or a certain project. Everything depends on the candidate profile.
