What do you mean exactly?

Do you just want software to manage the minutes and action items after a meeting has taken place?

Typically, I use www.mycommittee.com

For the actual meeting, I normally use Webex and/or Telepresence (or some times, even just MSN or Skype) as its so much easier than driving for hours just to shake hands.

I meant just a scheduling of the appointments that a person have hour by hour (in a certain day) and in a week,....hope clear...

So you just want to schedule appointments. The standards are Outlook and Google Calendar, which both send emails to the attendees asking for confirmation that they can attend. I typically use the later as it can be accessed from anywhere you have an internet connection, plus it easily syncs with my phone and so I can create appointments whilst on the move.

hello,
as I said I used the one within in Thunderbird but I need a standlone application....I don't need to send any email. It's just to remind me the appointments. I need something that permits me to manage many appointments hour by hour too. Any name?

Did you try sunbird (http://www.mozilla.org/projects/calendar/)?

That depends on your specification. Do you want free software? Single user or site-wide software? Do you need to access it from a wide range of locations ? Do you need support ?

Have you tried the appointment scheduler built using Excel? Surprisingly functional - http://download.cnet.com/Free-Excel-Contact-Appointment-Scheduler/3004-2078_4-11657541.html (has the advantage that you can put it on a network share and therefore manage it remotely)

I assume you tried outlook? Thats a popular app used by organisations.

Google Calendar? I use this myself and find it excellent. Even has the ability to remind you by text message.
