I am using Qt Creator for the first time and I see in Qt Creator under the Advanced Menu in Edit Menu there is an option for (Un)Comment Selection with its keyboard shortcut. Is there a way to add this to my toolbar as I use this feature a lot in other editors (Netbeans, VisualStudio) and am use to a toolbar option for it.

Thanks! Qt Creator seems pretty good so far!

Isn't it easier to use the keyboard shortcut for that? I think it is set to CTRL+D by default.

For things like this I am not used to keyboard shortcuts there for it is easier for me to use the mouse to highlight my section of code followed by keeping my hand on the mouse to click the button on the toolbar. And no, it's Ctrl+/ for the default shortcut.

Regardless, I don't worry about what others think is quicker, I think the toolbar is most convenient and am curious if there is a toolbar button available for this.

Thanks!

There is no toolbar button available for this. If you want one, write a plugin that will add it.
