QMAKE_MAC_SDK=/Developer/SDKs/MacOSX10.4u.sdk is needed when making a universal binary on a PPC machine, but it's not clear from the documentation that this is needed on an x86 machine.
Is it okay to add this to the .pro file without knowing what architecture the program is going to be built on, or is this a PPC-only flag?
