join two points in a graph qwt

hello every one i am new to qwt and i want to ak that in graph plotting how the two points that are away from each other get joined does the axisscale we define makes any difference . i an unable to under stand even a simple graph plot:(

also for example if i have 2 points how do i join them usinf a curve gradually and slowly .i.e curve move slowly from one point to other
