Does Qt 4.7.3 build under VS2010 EXPRESS Edition?

Does Qt 4.7.3 (everywhere-src) build under VS2010 EXPRESS Edition (the free registrable copy)?

Are there any known restrictions during build OR runtime?

Based on "general life experience", I would estimate that nobody has ever tried - people who build the Qt itself tend to have better tools. But I don't see any reason why it wouldn't. Just try it, it is free after all.

I don't see why not, the IDE is restricted (ie, you can't run the Qt Plugin), but I don't think the compiler itself is.

Also check the documentation for system requirements, i think you need to install the Windows SDK and maybe some other stuff too (for example to build Phonon you also need DirectX SDK) - anyway search the documentation for requirements.
