Installation of QT on S60v3 devices

hi,
I am new to QT programming. I recently installed QT SDK 1.1.2
I am interested in developing applications for Nokia c5(based on s60v3). I developed a small battery application and tested it on the simulator. But when i tried to run it on the device, I got an error indicating " 'QT' component missing ".
Should i install anything on the device before proceeding to run the app.
If any, what are they and where can i find them?

Please if any1 know the solution, do reply..

The key to this, to my understanding, is Nokia's Smart Installer http://www.developer.nokia.com/Community/Wiki/Nokia_Smart_Installer_for_Symbian. Applications deployded using it should detect missing libraries and download them automatically. The wiki explains the manual steps currently required in preparing the SIS file -- Qt Creator cannot do this automatically.

Thank you for replying. I tried the Nokia Smart Installer as you specified. But i get an error after installing Nokia Smart Installer, indicating "Device Not Supported".
I use Qt SDK 1.1(based on qt4.7.4) which has inbuilt Smart installer, so i have a doubt, Is Nokia Smart Installer not supported for s60v3 devices?

and how do i develop apps for s60v3 devices in QT SDK 1.1?

As already said in the other post, no Qt 4.7 - genberally, if you want to use S60v3, using Carbide is the better choice.

In addition, caveat emptor: the C5 is not a device which is supported on Ovi for Qt apps. So the sales volume you reach will be almost zero (aka MobiHand)

Use Carbide and Qt 4.6.3 (NOT 4.7), and then pray!

Nokia is very unwilling to adnit these apps into Ovi nowadays...
