(Man, I hate to do this again...)

Dennis Ritchie, C pioneer and inventor, died few days ago (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dennis_Ritchie) (8.10.2011).

I basically "grew up" on C and his great book. "The C programming language" (with Brian W. Kernighan) was the first programming book I've seen. Even today its the most worn out book on my bookshelf...

#include <stdio.h>

int main(){
printf("Rest in peace, Mr. Ritchie.\n");
return 0;
}

The book was a classic, yes. Along with Guido Krüger's Learning C (German, though).

Reminds me of the old days, Palm and OnBoardC...

Rest in peace Mr Ritchie!

printf("goodbye, world");

#include <prayers.h>
#include <love.h>
main()
{
printf("Thanks master, for all the efforts and hardwork\n");
printf("May your soul rest in god's feet");
getFlower();
putFlower();
}

:)

Don't mean to be picky about your grammar, but if you are referring to the Theistic-Abrahamic god, then his name is "God", "LORD", "G-d", "YAHWEH", etc -- and NOT "god". Also, what do you mean with "God's feet"?

I'm not referring to the Theistic-Abrahamic god.
God's feet is the destination.
