View Full Version : Qt Assistant Deployment doesn't display gif/jpg images

Good Day!

I am using Qt Assistant as my custom help viewer. On my development machine, gif/jpg files are displayed just fine when I load the help collection file. When I deploy to a non-qt installed, Windows Vista machine, png images display properly, but gif/jpg files do not load at all (replaced by a pretty blue question mark icon).

I am deploying the imageformats plugin directory with the application, and I can verify that the qgif4 and qjpeg4 plugins are being loaded by seeing them in the Qt Plugin Cache in the registry. I have cleared both the plugin cache, and the Qt Assistant cache to make sure nothing "old" is being loaded, to no avail.

I am using the distributed Qt SDK with Qt 4.7.0, and Qt Assistant 4.7.0.

Any help would be had!

Thanks!

I just found the problem - I was using an old version of the imageformats plugin dll's. Problem resolved.

Thanks!
