Using Python libraries

I have this wonderful library, OpenOPC for python, written in python. Is there anyway I can use this library in my Qt Application using the python bindings available with qt? Or is it just wishful thinking from my side?

Some time ago I played PythonQt (http://pythonqt.sourceforge.net/) for a similar task, but I'm not sure it will suit your case.

Hi,

As a side comment... is OPC really used by anyone ? I considered it a while ago in selecting a sort of RPC mechanism for SCADA and other purposes, but it seemed like OPC wasn't much alive.
