Hi there,

i will finish my current project next week and i am just planning a new one.
The next project is not supposed to be a quick written one. I plan to code this project with at least one more friend.
For the upcoming project i want to create a stunning custom gui. A friend of mine suggested to use a graphics library called Clutter.
I really like Qt and noticed that there is a QtAnimationFramework available but does anyone of you know how fast the QtAnimationFramework is?
There is one thing i hate more than anything else - an interface that laggs the whole time.
I never used libraries so far and i also do not know about performance of graphic libraries out there. I guess there are some libraries which are faster than others.
Would be nice if anyone could answer :)

Greetings

how fast the QtAnimationFramework is?
In what way?
Under what configuration and use cases?
There is hardly one way to parameterize this.
Its seems you are choosing your tools before you know what your tasks are.
I guess you don't first choose a hammer, only to discover later your task is to paint a wall.
Know your task requirements first, then choose the best fitting tools (and only after knowing your tasks requirements you will know what features to compare between the tools).
