design of animation of car

hi all,

i want to design a car or use any existing image of a car, my purpose is to show to the user the image of a car and all the switches and lamps in the car (the lamps and switches i plan to use the button widget in qt and for lamps i plan to use a circle with led color changing from red to green). the user on pressing a switch the corresponding lamp will become ON or OFF. My main doubt is how can i design a car and place this lamps and switches at the required positions in the car. please can somebody guide me how to proceed. Is this acheivable?

Sounds more like a job for Photoshop to me. Otherwise I'd look to the QGraphicsView framework.
