QPlainTextEdit selecting Text without moving anchor

Hi. I want to ask on how can I select a text in a QPlainTextEdit without moving the anchor ?

And when I try to type, the selected text won't be overwritten or removed...

Oh!!!!!!!!! that is not possible or else you've to write your own api for this which is a very difficult task. i think in windows also you didn't see that feature or did you????
