QML for Desktop

I am planning to implement Presentation Model (martin fowler) or MVVM in Qt by using QML/Q_PROPERTY for desktop application.

Is it right way to develop desktop applications by using QML?

Can QML GUI displays native operating system look and feel?

What is the future of QML?
