This design flaw has been in the library since inception. Can we FINALLy be allowed to set the alignment for QToolButton? Centered makes absolutely no sense in 80% of all situations.

Why don't you implement it yourself? It should be no more than 10 minutes of work and I'm sure such modification would be accepted into Qt.
