I was in a introduction course for QT Jambi today, and the person introducing it (from trolltech) said that there were almost a 1 to 1 relation between QT for C++ and QT Jambi. With this he meant that Jambi had the same way of doing almost everything. So I ask:

If QT for C++ and QT Jambi is so equal, what is the point of Jambi? I am aware of the obvious security benefits of Java, but other than that I cant see the point. The reason why I am asking is that I am both a C++ programmer and a Java programmer, and are uncertain whether I should go with Java or C++ on this one.

Well, it's simple: if you have to write your application in Java, Qt Jambi gives you an opportunity to use Qt.
