QT advanced settings

I need to open Ms Word, excel, Internet Explorer,skype,specific folder,keyboard and calculator in a QT application. The files need to show in a widget. Is there a plugin available which can allow the files to be opened?Can you suggest any method to solve this. Thanks in advance...
