I have learnt that VLC media player is built in QT. When I checked its installation folder, I found no traces of QT like QT libraries (QtGui.dll etc)
How QT libraries are shipped or masked in VLC.
How I will be know that this is built in QT.

Well, I might be old fashioned, but you could just look at the source code (http://git.videolan.org/), consult the VLC web pages to see what is required to compile it (https://wiki.videolan.org/Contrib_Status/#Others), or even ask the authors. A Qt interface to VLC is optional but it works just fine with Qt4.8.5 on my Linux box.
