is myspace the paris hilton on the internet?

I have found this article relating myspace to Paris Hilton (http://www.profilepitstop.com/articles/myspace/is-myspace-the-paris-hilton-of-the-internet.php).
Probably, they are more like similar in the sense that they attract people and can easily build a hype. So, what do you think?

My say is that all community sites attract different people, and that means that the contents of the quality will be varying. This applies to each of these sites, and to the whole of the internet. The difference is that now, the granularity has changed, so you cannot say that a site has quality contents, but a part of a site.
